Billionaire Elon Musk has announced that both X and SpaceX will relocate their headquarters from California to Texas. The decision comes in response to a new California law that prohibits school districts from requiring teachers to notify parents about changes to a student’s sexual orientation and gender identity. SpaceX’s current headquarters in Hawthorne, California, will move to Starbase, Texas, where the company has been building a large facility for its Starship rocket system.
